==Das Projekt==<br />
Es gibt viele moderne deutsche Bibelübersetzungen auf dem Markt – leider jedoch keine, die unter einer freien Lizenz steht und so uneingeschränkt nutzbar ist. So sind für die Nutzung einer Übersetzung beispielsweise für einen Bibelleseplan, ein Handyprogramm oder einfach für den USB-Stick strikte Lizenzen zu beachten und (in den meisten Fällen) dafür zu bezahlen.<br />
Wir haben es uns als Ziel gesetzt, eine freie deutsche Bibelübersetzung zu erstellen, die von jedem für alles genutzt werden darf. Unsere Ergebnisse stehen unter einer freien Lizenz und dürfen damit beliebig kopiert und genutzt werden, solange angegeben ist, dass sie von uns kommen.<br />

Es sollen zwei Textfassungen unserer Übersetzung entstehen:<br />

==Besonderheiten==<br />
Gegründet von einem katholischen Pastoralreferenten und einem evangelischen Theologiestudenten, ist die Offene Bibel von Anfang an ökumenisch.<br />
<br />
An den Übersetzungen arbeiten nicht wie üblich ÜbersetzerInnen, deren Texte dann von RedakteurInnen kontrolliert werden. Bei der Offenen Bibel arbeiten viele ÜbersetzerInnen gleichzeitig an einem Buch und andere verbessern die Übersetzung.<br />
<br />
Bei der Offenen Bibel sind alle ChristInnen gefragt. Jeder und jede kann den Text der Lesefassung bearbeiten und ihn so besser verständlich machen. <br />
<br />
Der Text der Offenen Bibel steht unter einer freien Lizenz, die es allen Menschen ermöglicht, diesen Text in ihren Projekten zu nutzen. Es fallen weder Lizenzgebühren an, noch muss die Erlaubnis dazu eingeholt werden.<br />
<br />
Die Offene Bibel besteht aus zwei Fassungen. In der Studienfassung können alle Möglichkeiten der Wissenschaft bei der Übersetzung ausgeschöpft werden, wohingegen die Lesefassung auf Grundlage der komplizierten Studienfassung gut lesbar sein wird. <br />

==Warum es funktioniert==<br />
Theologiestudierende übersetzen fast täglich die Urtexte. Warum also nicht die Übersetzung nach den Übersetzungskriterien der Offenen Bibel gestalten und den Text auf die Internetseite stellen? Wer kann heute schon von sich sagen, dass sie/er an einer Bibelübersetzung mitgearbeitet hat?<br />
<br />
Viele LeserInnen der Bibel haben sich bei einigen Versen der Bibel sicherlich schon gefragt, ob man den Inhalt nicht etwas verständlicher hätte ausdrücken können. Bei der Offenen Bibel haben sie die Möglichkeit, direkt in die Lesefassung einzugreifen und damit den Gesamttext verständlicher zu machen.<br />

Wir haben das Ziel vor Augen, allen Menschen den Zugang zu einer modernen deutschen Übersetzung in jeder gewünschten Form zu ermöglichen. <br />

Durch die besondere Form der Bearbeitung kann der Text der Offenen Bibel durch stetige Änderung und Verbesserung über Jahre hinweg modern und verständlich bleiben.<br />

===Übersetzen===<br />
Die offensichtlichste Möglichkeit ist natürlich bei der Übersetzung mitzuwirken. Vorraussetzung dabei sind Hebräisch-, Aramäisch- und/oder Griechischkenntnisse. Besonders geeignet sind deshalb TheologiestudentInnen, PfarrerInnen und TheologiedozentInnen, StudentInnen und AbsolventInnen der Althebraistik, Judaistik und Altphilologie oder einfach alle Interessierten mit entsprechenden Sprachkenntnissen. Neben den Sprachkenntnissen sollten auch exegetische Entscheidungen am Text getroffen werden können.<br />

===Eindeutschen/Übertragen===<br />
Alle Interessierten können im zweiten Schritt die Lesefassung der ÜbersetzerInnen bei Bedarf verbessern (auf der Diskussionsseite gute Versionen abzeichnen) bzw. kommentieren oder selbst die Studienfassung in einen gut lesbaren Text (Lesefassung) übertragen, falls die Übersetzerin oder der Übersetzer keine Lesefassung eingetragen hat.<br />

Das sehe ich genauso. Die Bibel ist der Hauptzweck und die Freie Software mag ein Nebenzweck sein. Ich glaube, die Volksbildung ist auch wieder der Gemeinnützigkeit geschuldet. Allerdings würde ich nicht nur sagen, dass die Erstellung der Übersetzung, sondern auch die ständige Aktualisierung dazu gehört (sonst wäre der Vereinszweck irgendwann futsch). Der nichtssagende Ökumene-Satz ist glaub ich genau das was das Finanzamt und die Kirchen hören wollen, denn das kann alles heißen und ist vom Grundsatz her unterstützenswert. Das führt mich zur Frage nach den genauen Zielen des Vereins. Du hast recht, wenn du die Ökumene und die Volksbildung als Gemeinnützigkeitsfaktoren mit eingebracht sehen willst. Beide verdienen es meiner Meinung aber, nach Möglichkeit noch so konkretisiert zu werden, dass sie nicht nur Formalien bleiben, sondern tatsächlich die Motive des Vereins leiten können. <br />

Die angepeilte Bibelübersetzung könnte dreiteilig konzipiert sein: Die 1. Erstellung (Übersetzung), 2. Pflege (ständige Verbesserung) und 3. Verbreitung (Bewerbung, aktive Weitervermittlung, Förderung des Einsatzes in Bibelsoftware, etc.) der Offenen Bibel. Soweit zumindest meine Gedanken. <br />

Im Vereinszweck könnten vielleicht auch der im Entstehen begriffene Kommentar, die Grammatik sowie die wissenschaftliche Pflege der vollständigen Studienfassung berücksichtigt werden. Möglicherweise könnten auch andere Details festgelegt werden (dabei möchte ich jetzt lediglich die Frage stellen, ob das nötig sein wird): Etwa in inwieweit wir den ökumenischen Ansatz theologisch in den Kommentar einfließen lassen. Wie ich schon direkt im Text geschrieben habe, sind einige Formulierungen schlicht und einfach der Gemeinnützigkeit des Vereins geschuldet und das zuständige Finanzamt hat ein paar unserer Vorschläge kategorisch abgelehnt.Ganz nebenbei angemerkt ist es schon einganz schöner Aufwand wenn die Satzung geändert werden muss und alle Gründungsmitglieder der geänderten Satzung handschriftlich zustimmen müssen. Vielleicht wäre es in einem Münster Amt anders. <br />

Aber mein Vorschlag sollte auch nur Arbeitsgrundlage sein und ist noch nicht in Stein gemeißelt 8>)<br />
Zum Thema Gemeinnützigkeit nur schnell gesagt, dass diese Bedingung ist um Spendenquittungen und Fortbildungen, wie auch den Mitgliedsbeitrag von der Steuer absetzbar zu machen.<br />

(2) In der Mitgliederversammlung ist jedes Mitglied stimmberechtigt. Beschlussfähig ist jede ordnungsgemäß einberufene Mitgliederversammlung, unabhängig von der Zahl der erschienenen Vereinsmitglieder.<br />

(3) Soweit die Satzung nichts anderes bestimmt, entscheidet bei der Beschlussfassung die einfache Mehrheit der abgegebenen Stimmen. Stimmenthaltungen bleiben außer Betracht. Zur Änderung der Satzung, des Vereinszweckes und zur Auflösung des Vereins ist eine Mehrheit von drei Viertel der abgegebenen Stimmen erforderlich.<br />

==§9 Mitgliederversammlung==<br />
<br />
(1) Die Mitgliederversammlung ist für folgende Angelegenheiten zuständig:<br />

(3) Jede Mitgliederversammlung wird von der/dem 1. Vorsitzenden, bei ihrer/seiner Verhinderung von der/dem 2. Vorsitzenden, unter Einhaltung einer Frist von mindestens vier Wochen, durch persönliches Einladungsschreiben einberufen. Die Einladung kann auch elektronisch erfolgen, z.B. per E-Mail. In jedem Fall ist die vorgesehene Tagesordnung mitzuteilen.<br />

(4) Jedes Mitglied kann bis spätestens eine Woche vor dem Tag der Mitgliederversammlung beim Vorstand beantragen, dass weitere Angelegenheiten nachträglich auf die Tagesordnung gesetzt werden.<br />

(5) Über Anträge auf Ergänzung der Tagesordnung, die erst in der Versammlung gestellt werden, beschließt die Mitgliederversammlung.<br />

<br />
==§10 Beschlussfassung der Mitgliederversammlung==<br />
<br />
(1) Die Mitgliederversammlung wird von der/dem 1. Vorsitzenden, bei deren/dessen Verhinderung von der/dem 2. Vorsitzenden oder einem anderen Vorstandsmitglied geleitet.<br />

(2) In der Mitgliederversammlung ist jedes Mitglied stimmberechtigt. Beschlussfähig ist jede ordnungsgemäß einberufene Mitgliederversammlung, unabhängig von der Zahl der erschienenen Vereinsmitglieder.<br />

(3) Soweit die Satzung nichts anderes bestimmt, entscheidet bei der Beschlussfassung die einfache Mehrheit der abgegebenen Stimmen. Stimmenthaltungen bleiben außer Betracht. Zur Änderung der Satzung, des Vereinszweckes und zur Auflösung des Vereins ist eine Mehrheit von drei Viertel der abgegebenen Stimmen erforderlich.<br />
