*: Dabei geht es um die Funktion von Verb+Inf. abs. derselben Wurzel. These: "[T]he tautological infinitive is consistently employed to “express the speaker’s focus on the factuality of the proposition” (98). ... “In most cases, the tautological inf. may be translated as the adverb ‘really’ in English. But the most natural rendering [of the tautological infinitive] would be to stress the modal auxiliary or to insert the modal auxiliary ‘do’ ” (133)." (S. 3)

*: Der Rezensent meint jedoch, dass der Verfasser einige Fälle nicht zufriedenstellend erklären kann, in denen die Wendung bspw. eher eine intensivierende als "faktizitierende" Funktion hat. ([[Benutzer:Ben|Ben]])

  • Hubert James Keener, review of Yoo-Ki Kim, The Function of the Tautological Infinitive in Classical Biblical Hebrew, Review of Biblical Literature
Dabei geht es um die Funktion von Verb+Inf. abs. derselben Wurzel. 3)
Der Rezensent meint jedoch, dass der Verfasser einige Fälle nicht zufriedenstellend erklären kann, in denen die Wendung bspw. eher eine intensivierende als "faktizitierende" Funktion hat. (Ben)
