Von Ginsburg kollationierte MSS sind nach seiner Bibelausgabe nummeriert und beginnen mit „G“.^〈a〉 MSS, die mehrere Buchsammlungen enthalten (wie bes. Vollbibeln) habe ich mehrere Kürzel gegeben. Das mag in dieser Übersicht verwirren, ist in Textkritik-Fußnoten aber übersichtlicher. „LitBib“ steht für „Liturgische Bibel“, enthält also nicht nur den Pentateuch, sondern auch die Megillot und je nach Tradition die Haftarot.

Zu Digby Or 32 und Or 802-804 als Vertreter dieser Gruppe vgl. die Beschreibung in Wright 1859, S. xxvii-xxxi. Zu dieser Gruppe gehören auch einige Machsorim (etwa der Machsor Worms und der Machsor Add 9405 + Add. 9406 [1309, vgl. Ginsburg, Introduction]) und mehrere Fragmente (vgl. z.B. Díez-Macho (1963): A New List of So-called „ben Naftali“ Manuscripts, Preceded by an Inquiry into the True Character of these Manuscripts; Blapp (2018): The Use of Dagesh in the Non-Standard Tiberian Manuscripts of the Hebrew Bible from the Cairo Genizah; Pilocane 2022). Kahle, Prijs u.a. identifizierten diese Text-Tradition mit der ben Naftali-Tradition (was mittlerweile klar überholt ist), Ginsburg, Sperber und Diez-Macho hielten sie für älter als die standard-tiberische, Morag dagegen für jünger. In der aktuelleren Forschung beschränkt man sich meist darauf, zu sagen, dass dieses palästino-tiberische System jedenfalls eine eigene Texttradition neben der tiberischen Standard-Tradition ist. Diese Tradition ist zunächst einmal nur ein anderes Schreibsystem, nicht eine andere Texttradition. Man sieht dies etwa an der Handschrift NI1, die sehr stark z.B. mit L übereinstimmt (s. z.B. Hos 2,17, wo der Punktator seinen Text nachträglich von der korrekten Akzentuierung zur fehlerhaften z.B. von L, G14 und G15 korrigiert hat – offensichtlich konnte man [u.a.?] aus „klassisch tiberischen“ Handschriften abschreibend palästino-tiberische Texte produzieren). Gleichzeitig beinhaltet G3 viele Varianten, die sich sonst nirgends finden, und ist mit diesen Varianten also nicht unbedingt Zeuge einer bestimmten „Tradition“. An anderen Stellen aber bezeugen bes. die London-Bibel und die Parma-Bibel gemeinsam einen anderen Text als die Mehrheit der Textzeugen, an einigen dieser Stellen stimmt auch G3 und an wenigen NI1 mit ihnen zusammen. Man kann auf dieser Basis also wohl schon von einer palästino-tiberischen Textfamilie ausgehen, in die im Verlauf der Überlieferungsgeschichte aber auch Varianten aus anderen Textfamilien eindrangen. Bes. verbreitet in aschkenasischen und italienischen Codices und Fragmenten ab dem 11. Jhd. (zu )
